PS Series Pressure Screens
Product Group:
Screening Filtration Systems
Function:
Pressure screening
Available Models:
PS‑Single, PS‑Double, PS‑Triple, PS‑Quad

Overview

The Komline-FluidQuip PS Series Pressure Screens are engineered for efficient, reliable, and low-maintenance liquid–solid separation of fibrous, non-abrasive materials. With optimized feed flow and high-capacity wedge wire screens, they are ideally suited for:

  • Dewatering
  • Fiber washing (Stages 1–6)
  • Fiber dewatering
  • Wet corn milling
  • Food & beverage processing
  • Pulp & paper separation
  • Chemical slurry filtration
  • Wastewater solids removal

Benefits

High-Efficiency Screening Under Pressure

  • Provides precise separation of fine particles and fibers under controlled pressure conditions.
  • Ensures consistent product quality with minimal loss of valuable solids.

Clean & Enclosed Operation

  • Fully enclosed design prevents spillage and contamination.
  • Supports hygienic operation and compatibility with clean-in-place (CIP) systems.

Adaptable to Process Conditions

  • Works effectively in both high- and low-consistency applications.
  • Customizable screen sizes and rotor designs allow adaptation to diverse process requirements.

Durable & Long-Lasting

  • Constructed from wear-resistant stainless steel to withstand fibrous and abrasive slurries.
  • Reduces maintenance frequency and extends service life, even in continuous-duty operations

Key Features

  • 1–4 screen compartments in stainless cabinet
  • Tangential nozzles to 120° wedge wire screens
  • Adjustable geometry, nozzle size, and feed pressure

Operating Principle

Pressurized slurry over wedge wire screens; fines pass, oversize is discharged.

Available Options

Pressurized slurry over wedge wire screens; fines pass, oversize is discharged.

Other Details

Each unit features one to four screen compartments housed in a stainless steel cabinet. Slurry is pumped into a pressurized header and directed through tangential nozzles onto 120° wedge wire screens. Fines pass through slot openings, while oversized material is retained and discharged. Screen geometry, nozzle size, and feed pressure can be adjusted to match specific process demands.
